Machine vision is a dynamic field: STEMMER IMAGING and our suppliers are the world´s leading manufacturers for machine vision components and solutions, introducing many brand new developments several times a year.
What makes a machine vision system robust? Robustness in this context is more than just reliability. It is a reliability that is maintained within the natural variations of the environment in which the system is being used.
CCS has introduced the TH2-CR series of flat light units with a camera window which provide light from the same axis as the camera. The wide emitting surface combines wide-field imaging with highly uniform illumination, making these new lights an attractive alternative to coaxial and dome lights.
The microEnable 5 family of frame grabbers from Silicon Software offers machine vision users scalable, intelligent high performance data transfer and processing capabilities. CameraLink, CameraLink HS and CoaXPress versions are available as classical image acquisition or programmable frame grabbers with multi-camera support. This simplifies image acquisition and data processing infrastructure and reduces costs.
STEMMER IMAGING, a European market leader in the field of machine vision technology, has acquired Data Vision by means of an asset deal effective January 31, 2018. Data Vision is a highly specialized provider of imaging and machine vision solutions in the Netherlands. This acquisition further strengthens the position of STEMMER IMAGING in the Benelux countries.

TH2-PM family of backlights have been optimised to give highly directional illumination. This makes them ideally suited to dimensional measurements where accurate imaging of the outline of objects is needed and other transmission imaging applications.
A new 3-CMOS area scan camera combines the accuracy of prism-based optics with the image quality provided by Sony Pregius IMX265 colour sensors. The prism separates incoming light into red, green and blue wavelengths, which are directed onto the three precisely-aligned sensors. This allows the JAI APEX AP-3200T-USB to deliver better colour fidelity and spatial precision than traditional Bayer colour cameras.
STEMMER IMAGING AG (‘STEMMER IMAGING‘, ‘the enterprise’ or ‘the company’) is planning to float new and existing common shares (‘the offer’) in the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (’Open Market’) by way of an initial public offering. The company is expected to be listed in the first half of 2018.
The new colour versions of the BOA Spot smart vision sensor from Teledyne DALSA provide even greater versatility for single point industrial part and assembly verification. Colour training, matching and verification capabilities have been added to the existing embedded inspection tools. With easy factory integration and a highly competitive price point, Boa Spot Colour allows automated vision inspection to be added at almost any point in the production line.
STEMMER IMAGING is member of the future oriented PRIMEPULSE group. It’s worth looking on the new website www.primepulse.de, what PRIMEPULSE stands for and who is also part of the strong network of companies. The English version is soon to come.
